Envie de matières brutes!!!!
Il a porté ceci, est parti quelques temps chez un ami, a pris place sous la cuisine d’été (où la pluie l’a bien décapé !), mais ça c’était avant…
Maintenant, il est revêtu de jute (beaucoup de chance, car déjà présente dessous les couches de tissus!!!) Jute, un peu trop jaune, alors, comme je l’ai vu sur l’un de vos blog (me rappelle plus du nom, toutes mes excuses!) Je l’ai à peine un peu blanchie au lait de peinture, en même temps que le bois.
Un galon bleu, chiné chez EmaÜS, est venu l’orner (collage oblige!), histoire de rappeler les rideaux et le coussin achetés chez Babou (l’année dernière, un vrai petit écureuil!)
Envies de matières brutes, oui! Mais là, les finitions étaient vraiment trop brutes….Pas de petits galons en stocks, donc système D : bobine de chanvre et crochet
Il y a très longtemps que je n’avais plus crocheté, comme le vélo, ça ne s’oublie pas! Et un peu plus tard, j’ai posé mon petit ouvrage comme ceci
J‘ai ensuite renouvelé l’opération, cette fois avec du fil à broder,
pour finir les bords d’une étoile collée et découpée dans de la toile à peindre. Mais, manqué encore un petit détail, pour parfaire mon ensemble. J’ai donc tamponné et collé une toute petite étoile en bois au centre de la plus grande.
Ce fauteuil, que seul les chats voulaient, a finalement pris place dans mon atelier, histoire qu’une personne puisse s’assoir lorsque je bidouille!!!!

A part, bien sur mes deux compagnons à poils ” Bernard et Bianca”, qui eux, s’installent sur tout et n’importe quoi….

I’ve been chewing over this article by James Meek since I read it, what, six weeks ago — which was about the time I said YES to Google Ads. YES, Google Ads, YES!
The essential public good that Margaret Thatcher, Tony Blair and now Cameron sell is not power stations, or trains, or hospitals. It’s the public itself. It’s us.
The commodity that makes water and roads and airports valuable to an investor, foreign or otherwise, is the people who have no choice but to use them…
We are a human revenue stream; we are being made tenants in our own land, defined by the string of private fees we pay to exist here. If it’s not obvious that we’re being sold to investors, it’s partly because the idea of privatisation is sold so hard to us, in a way that is hypnotically familiar. First, the denigration of the existing service, as if a universally accepted truth is being voiced: the schools/hospitals/roads are crumbling/failing/ second-class. Then, the rejection of government responsibility: we’ve no money/bureaucrats are incompetent. Finally, the solution: private investment.
And that investment does come, and things get shinier.
